About the Position
This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. through machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures that the dishwashing area and kitchen is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.
Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensil and place them in racks to send through dish machine
Sort and stack clean dishes. Carries clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
Change dishwater in dish machine every hour and assemble/disassemble dish machine
Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
Set up or break down dishwashing area
Clean and roll/unroll mats
Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
Sweep up trash around exterior of facility directly adjacent to Food & Beverage department and garbage dumpster
General restaurant cleaning as directed
Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate
Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response
Detail-orientation and high cleanliness standards
Minimum two (2) years of kitchen cleaning experience preferred
Professional, friendly manner
Hours: Will vary, must be able to work holidays and weekends
